Independent Wellness Oversight for Seniors
Unison Care provides structured senior check-in visits for families seeking an independent, professional perspective on a loved one’s well-being.
These short, focused visits are available in private homes, retirement residences, long-term care facilities, and hospitals throughout the West Island of Montreal, including Pointe-Claire, Kirkland, Beaconsfield, Dollard-des-Ormeaux (DDO), Pierrefonds-Roxboro, Dorval, and surrounding communities.
This service is ideal when families want reassurance, oversight, and clear communication—without long minimum hour commitments.
What Is a Senior Check-In Visit?
A senior check-in visit is a time-bound wellness observation appointment conducted by a certified PAB (Préposé(e) aux bénéficiaires).
The purpose is to provide an outside perspective on how a senior is doing between regular care routines or family visits.
These visits are not rushed, not open-ended, and not task-heavy.
What’s Included in a Check-In Visit
Each check-in visit may include:
• General wellness observation
• Mood and engagement assessment
• Basic hygiene and appearance check
• Mobility observation
• Environmental safety review
• Light companionship
• Identification of any concerns requiring follow-up
Following the visit, a digital summary report may be sent to a designated family member.
Who This Service Is For
Senior check-in visits are well suited for:
• Families living outside Montreal
• Seniors residing in retirement or care facilities
• Hospitalized seniors requiring follow-up

Each visit is structured and reserved exclusively for the client.
